INVISALIGN

Invisalign is a modern alternative to the long-established use of braces to correct teeth and it is every bit as effective though far more appealing to the patient. It consists of a set of transparent, removable aligners that are kept in the mouth for 22 hours a day. They are removed during meals, which in itself is already a significant improvement in comfort and hygiene compared with normal braces. The aligners are changed every ten days. This is easy to do at home and requires no dentist visit other than a sporadic progress check.

Though orthodontics is associated with younger people it can form part of dental and facial aesthetics treatments for people of all ages, as teeth have a tendency to crowd over the years. In many cases orthodontics is therefore applied in combination with other treatments to achieve optimal results.
