MEET DR. MARJAN FATHI, DDS

Dr. Fathi is a highly skilled dentist with over a decade of experience in the Bay Area. She established her practice in Union Square to deliver exceptional, patient-focused dental care, emphasizing long-term oral health and natural, aesthetic outcomes. Known for her meticulous approach and commitment to quality, Dr. Fathi strives to provide a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.

Dr. Fathi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), where she was selected for the esteemed Esthetic Honors Program, further refining her expertise in cosmetic dentistry. She completed a General Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and holds certifications in Invisalign, The Dr. Ortiz Program, Digital Smile Design, and Laser Dentistry from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Driven by a passion for patient care and excellence in dentistry, Dr. Fathi is dedicated to helping patients achieve their healthiest, most confident smiles.

MEET DR. SARAH AHN, DMD, MS

Dr. Shin Young (Sarah) Ahn is a Board-Certified Periodontist with advanced training in periodontal therapy, soft tissue and bone grafting procedures, dental implants, and LANAPlaser therapy.

Dr. Ahn earned both her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors in clinical dentistry. She then practiced as a general dentist in Philadelphia, where she developed a deeper appreciation for how periodontal health influences overall health and treatment outcomes, leading her to specialize in periodontics. She earned her Advanced Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Ahn values a comprehensive, team-based approach to care and works closely with general dentists and specialists to deliver thoughtful, individualized treatment and a positive patient experience.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ahn enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring new restaurants with friends and family. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean.
